THE FOLLOW IS THE STEPS ON HOW  GOD TO HELP YOU Step 1: Be awake to God’s Word to yo Truth:  God’s Word has the answers Read:  “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work” (2 Timothy 3:16-17). Challenge:  Knowing Jesus means knowing what He says. The Bible has everything you need to know about life and godliness. Take some time during the day to read your Bible. The book of John is a good place to start. Start slow, read a few verses and think them over. Look for what God has to say to you, promises he makes, or things He says about himself. Step 2: Be aware of God’s Character Truth:  No matter what, God is good! Read:  “Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him!” (Psalm 34:8).

HOW MUCH DOES GOD FORGIVE???

First of all, we all sin (Isaiah 53:6 “We all, like sheep, have gone astray, eachof us has turned to his own way” and Romans 3:23 “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”).The fact that you recognize your sin and feel badly about it should give you encouragement for several reasons. For one thing, a lot of peoplesin and don’t think there’s anything wrong with it – yet God has opened your eyes to seeing how destructive itcan be. But God does not want you tolive with guilt. He wants you to know and fully experience His forgiveness.God does not simply overlook our sin and say, “You’re forgiven.” God sees our sin but is ready to forgive us because Jesus fully took OUR sin on Himself and paid for our sin by His death on the cross. Our sin is serious and it cost Jesus incredible suffering. But from the moment we received Christ into our lives, His forgiveness is ours. We can’t ever make up for ourown sin or suffer enough for it – nor does God want us to. “But God demonstrates ...

PRAYER UÑTILL SOMETHING HAPPEN

WHAT IS PRAYER?Prayer is an intimate conversation with God that comes from a personal relationship with Him.Anybody can pray, even a child in the simplest language, in fact it is a command to all God's children to pray. 1 Tess 5:17 says "pray at all times", and Col 4:12 "be persistent in prayer".We do not only have a command from God that we must pray, we have an invitation to speak to Him about anything. "So whenever we are in need, we should come bravelybefore the throne of our merciful God. There we will be treated with undeserved kindness, and we will find help". (Heb 4:16)Prayer is not to give your wish list orshopping-list to God, it is not a way to manipulate Him so that you get the things that you desire.God is waiting for us to pray: "The LORD said, "I was ready to answer my people's prayers, but they did not pray. I was ready for them to findMe, but they did not even try. The nation did not pray to Me, even though I was always r...

HOW TO USE MONEY TO DECLINE THE POVERTY

If you think about it,there are really only five things you can do with money:*.Earn it*.Spend it*.Save it*.Invest it*.Give itThat may sound simple. But when it comes to actuallydoing it,all sorts ofquestions arise, such as:*.How much money do I need to earn?*.How much should I save?*.How much should I spend?*.Where should I invest it?*.How much should I give? The following advice will help you to begin thinking through these issues:1. EarningMost people have to earn an income some way or another. Some people do this by working at a job, others own their own business, and still others earn their living through more unconventional means, such as investing in real estate or the stock market.Whichever way you earn yourmoney, a key decision in this area is determining how much money you actually need to survive. Many people fall into the trap of working more than they need to, simply because they can’t say no to the extra money. They put in overtimeat work, thus depriving themselves, their f...

10WAYS OF RESIST THE devils

It is one of the Bible’s many sweet and powerful promises: “Resist the devil and he will flee from you” (James 4:7). The question is, though, how do we do this? In very practical ways, how do we resist the devil? Thomas Brooks offers a list of ten ways the Christian can resist Satan’s temptations.1.Be Ruled by the Word. Make the Word of God your rule and authority and live in obedience to all it says. It will keep you walking straight andguard you from all manner of temptation. “When men throw off the Word, then God throws off them, and then Satan takes them by the hand, and leads them into snares at his pleasure.”2.Beware of Grieving the Holy Spirit. It is the Holy Spiritthat gives the Christian the ability to discern Satan’s temptations and to see his hand in and behind life’s circumstances. If you grieve the Spirit, you drive off the one whose ministry involves guarding you against Satan’s attacks.3.Labor for Wisdom. There isa great difference between knowledge and wisdom, between a...

HOW TO RESIST SINS IN YOUR LIFE

Our Favorite Sins: The Sins We Commit And How You Can Quit (Thomas Nelson, March 2012) offers statistics, stories and spiritual principles to readers with the goal of helping them overcome the temptations and sins that often hinder their lives."The main thesis of the book is we're all in the grip of our desires, and that until we reorder our desires we will never, in any kind of sort of ongoing, organic, sort of natural way, be able to defeat our temptations. Because you can't be tempted by something that you don't have a pre-existing desire for," Hunter told The Christian Post on Thursday.Hunter, who is the founding pastor of Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Costa Mesa, Calif., and the book's publishers at Thomas Nelson employed the help of the Barna Group, a Ventura, Calif.-based religious research company, to provide research statistics for the book. The Barna Group surveyed 1,021 American adults– both Christians and non-Christians alike – in February 2011 t...

KNOW YOUR GOD

Does God exist? If so, who and what is He? These questions are too important for blind belief or scoffing dismissal. You can know, and you can know Him![image]Since the beginning of time, in times of trouble, loneliness, worry or deep contemplation, men and women have pondered the deep questions of life. Why are we here? What does it all mean? Is all that we go through just meaningless and futile? Or is there something more—something just outside of our abilities to discern and discover?Throughout history people have contemplated the possibility of supernatural beings who hold the keys to the mysteries of life.Is there a God? Can we prove His existence? If He does exist, why did He create us? Why doesn’t He make Himself so obvious that no one could doubt Him?What is He like? Can we understand Him? Is He in some ways like us, or is He completely incomprehensible to us mere mortals?Does He care for us? Does He want to have a relationship with us? What doesHe expect from us?TheBibleclaims...

HOLY,HOLY IS JESUS

'Spirit'/'breath' can be seen as a type of noun that has the implied character of a verb. Picture the thing known as 'wind'. Do you think of it as being still? Doesn't every image the word creates have motion, activity, movement, effect? Verbsare 'action words', but then, in their own way, so are nouns like 'wind'. The Spirit is an 'action noun', too.The Spiritverbs all that exists-- the Spiritacts, moves, agitates, births, andenergizes. The Spirit is often -- and rightly -- described as 'God in action'. But the description cannot stop there, because:1.the Father and the Son act, too, and each has a presence of their own.2.what makes the Spirit a person, before anything else, is how the Spirit relates to the Father and Son. We can find out how well they work as a unit, but we have no handle on how that comes about. Thisrelationshipis part of what defines the Godhead.3.The Holy Spirit is not merely present and 'in action...

WORK OF HOLY SPIRIT IN YOU LIFE

Introduction to the Holy SpiritJust who is the Holy Spirit? For many the Holy Spirit is a New Testament revelation. However, the Holy Spirit’s presence is from the first chapter of Genesis to the last chapter of Revelation. The Holy Spirit is not new to the pages of Scripture; He plays a vital role in God’s plan of redemption, from creation to eternity. InGenesis 1:2, the Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit, hovered over the formless void of creation. In the last chapter of Revelation, the Holy Spirit invites humanity to partake in God’s redemption (Revelation 22:17)The Holy Spirit, along with the Son and Father are co-equal, or One God in Three Persons, sharing a single Divine essence or being. The term coined to describe this relationship isTrinity, although the word Trinity is not in the Bible, the term best describes the nature of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. One God, revealed in three persons. As the Christian faith spread throughout out the Roman and pagan worlds, the doctrine of t...

role of holy spirit

Question: "What is the role of the HolySpirit in our lives today?"Answer:Of all the gifts given to mankind by God, there is none greater than the presence of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit has many functions, roles, and activities. First, He does a work in the hearts of all people everywhere. Jesus told the disciples that He would send the Spirit into the world to “convict the world of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment” (John 16:7-11). Everyone has a “God consciousness,” whether or not they admit it. The Spirit appliesthe truths of God to minds of men to convince them by fair and sufficient arguments that they are sinners. Responding to that conviction brings men to salvation.Once we are saved and belong to God, the Spirit takes up residence in our hearts forever, sealing us with theconfirming, certifying, and assuring pledge of our eternal state as His children. Jesus said He would send the Spirit to us to be our Helper, Comforter, and Guide. “And I will ask...

CAN YOU TRUST THE HOLY SPIRIT TO SAVE YOU

I was talking with a friend who had been a Christian for many years. The topic of his baptism came up.“Why did you want to be baptized?” I askedhim.“Because I wanted to receive the power of the Holy Spirit so that I could overcome all my sins.”“Did it work?”He laughed. “No.”His intentions were good, but his understanding was flawed. (No one understands perfectly, and we are saved byGod’s mercy despite our misunderstandings.)The Holy Spirit is not something we can “switch on” to achieve our overcoming goals, like some kind of supercharger for our willpower. We do not call the shots. The Spirit serves us, but he is not our servant. The Holy Spirit is God, present with us and in us, giving us the love, assurance and fellowship that the Father has for us in Christ. Through Christ, the Father has made us his own children, and the Holy Spirit gives us the spiritual sense of knowing his love for us (Romans 8:16).The Holy Spirit gives us fellowship with God through Christ, but he does not remov...
